Vocal Style: It was Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst who helped Aaron perfect his unique gravel-based style. While recording Dysfunction, Staind had a lot of intense parts in the songs, and Fred said "man you can sing, why don't you do that more?" And Aaronds style was defined. Rumor has it, he takes a little port wine and a bunch of Newport Cigs to develop his tone. (He has said he's always been a singer, but he had to learn how to be a screamer)
